Room was clean and comfortable breakfast was poor...nothing without sugar. Didn't even have any boiled eggs. Forced to eat Raisin Bran which has loads of sugar.
Continental breakfast was solid - decent waffles, yogurt Lots of local newspapers around Brand-new mini fridge in the room (very nice amenity!) Good location, if you have a car. Sensitive plumbing - toilet needed assistance & we mentioned it to the front desk at 8 am. Returning at 10:30 am after breakfast at Bob Evans, it hadn't been fixed, so we mentioned it again. The front-desk employee asked if we wanted a plunger. We declined and used the grotty public restroom off the lobby. Returning to our hotel at 9 pm, the toilet still hadn't been fixed. We asked the evening-shift employee for the plunger and fixed it ourselves. Bathtub also looked dirty and was never cleaned during our three-day stay. I overhead another guest one morning asking for cleaning supplies so she could clean her tub herself. If I wanted DIY, I would camp.
Friendly staff. Felt clean. Had to air out the room at least twice per day because of the musty smell. Not much to choose from in Urbana-Champaign, but this is probably one of the better places to stay at in the area.
Everything - room was fine, staff was helpful and nice. Easy check-in. I would have liked a hair dryer in room.
The price was good. The walls are paper thin so you hear everything in the entire place. Everything in the room is low quality. The staff was nice & friendly, but the place was not great, but then again you get what you pay for, and this place was not expensive at all.
- TV, Internet - coffee - next to a Shell station if you need any quick items - near major highways (10-15 min to Campustown) - friendly staff - i mean, you're getting what you pay for (I'd argue you're actually getting more than you pay for), but it's still a cheap motel, so don't set your hopes too high and you'll be pleasantly surprised.
The location was easy to get to and the bathroom and sink area were clean. The room had a sweaty/musty odor. The window to the room was open when we got there. There was no screen and anyone could have gotten in. It was open from 12-18 inches. We didn't feel safe at all. Door to back entrance wasn't locked.
For the price I paid I had a good stay. The beds were comfortable and I slept like a baby. The room did not smell like some people said. If you don't want to stay at a cheap hotel, don't stay at a cheap hotel. The water pressure was a little low in the shower but it was high enough to use.
The price and it was the only place available on homecoming weekend. Hotel was what you expected for the price. The owner needs to not barge into the rooms without knocking or introducing himself.
Everything was as good as can be. No.
they let us early check in which never happens
The bathroom was pretty clean. There is definitely a funky smell! Missing light bulbs in wall lamps and the phone and alarm clock were so disgustingly dirty I didn't touch either. All in all I paid way too much for this level of hotel (motel?).
Close to our destination. Ridiculous price for this quality of room
Seemed to be newly remodeled. Nice pillows and linens. But skimpy on towels & wash cloths. Check in clerk was curt, she, never looked me in the eye. No coffee maker so went down to lobby Sat. & Sun mornings. The Decaf coffee pot was empty. I asked the clerk when he would make some decaf, his reply was ':I don't know'. 1/2 hr later, no decaf.

Helpful staff. Not enough breakfast options.
