Great experience for the cost.
The hotel has had a few upgrades yet weatherstriping around the door opening would have helped with the cold air entering the room.
It was just an average older motel but met our needs after traveling 800 miles.
First room was a smoking room fairly far from plarking. After searching they found a non smoking room on 1st floor with a queen bed. Bed was not very comfort. Location was near the highway but had mostly fast food nearby.
Nothing at all
Bugs in my bed
The room appearance was fine overall.
Our room was infested with mosquitoes. There were too many to kill. They need to spray their property! Bring DEET.
Yes, the upholstered chair and stool in our room was filthy. There was grease or dark stains all over these pieces of furniture. ALSO, I GOT BEDBUG BITES, AND THEN IN THE SHOWER THERE WERE ALSO BUGS JUMPING AROUND IN THE SHOWER!?
warm shower, comfortable bed, clean sheets and towels, take pets
I have a disturbing experience with the night clerk regarding my reservation
Ground floor entry; drive right up to the door. Comfortable beds, reasonably spacious. Gracious staff. Solidly a two-star hotel which is definitely a plus because many of your hotels listed are worse than the advertised star level.
The attached restaurant had poor service; I mean really poor. The waiter didn't come to our table for the first 20 minutes and only finally came because my husband flagged him down. practically refused to give me a glass with my bottle of beer.
Room was old except for bed. Very outdated and not very clean.
First, the good points- The front desk personnel were both polite and helpful and the TV was new with a good selection of channels. Now the bad parts, to which I don't know where to start. The hotel is old and is in need of severe renovations and maintenance from qualified personnel. The items were either falling or cracked from the wall, their way of covering holes or mistakes would be by adding more caulking or slathering on the paint to smooth up the issues. The hair dryer fell from the wall as they used a fine thread on the screw but no anchor. Fire protection was a joke with a battery operated detector in the room and nothing else, let alone if it was functional. There was a restaurant on the premises and while not associated with the hotel, they really need to distance themselves. The food was atrocious but that only goes with the cleanliness and food safety standers that they followed. Unless you like getting a food borne illness I strongly recommend taking a walk to another ...
The hotel was clean enough. The rooms have new fixtures. However, it's still just a Quality Inn. The walls haven't been repainted or wallpapered, so you can see the drywall plugs from the old wall fixtures. The bathroom is the size of a closet. The walls are thin. The continental breakfast was okay; we just had cereal. That's the main thing with this hotel. It's 'okay'. Nothing to write home about. It was an okay place to stay for a night, but overpriced at * a night.
Will stay there again. The room was nice and the breakfast was great. They had everything that a restaurant would have. Let us stay an extra hour because we were going to a wedding and had no place to go until then. the room was clean like all of the pillows that we had .
This hotel was remodeled and has come a long way in 2 years. Even though the area is nice I would have a problem walking to the inner/outside halls. All doors face the outside. For a single female a room by the office. It has many outside lights. I did feel safe. All the staff were friendly. Great Continental Breakfast. Clean and comfortable rooms. Easy access to hwy and safe area.
