Better value than the Westin in Pasadena where we usually stay. Will make the Hampton Inn in Arcadia our go to hotel when we are visiting family in the area.
Bed was comfortable and clean.
I've stayed at many Hampton Inns all across the USA. This one is the worst of the bunch. Staff not friendly .... not once did I see any employee smile. Nobody at front desk for check-in at 630pm, had to wait 4-5 minutes for desk person to arrive. Room was pretty worn-out and dirty, especially the carpet. "Complementary" Wi-Fi was incredibly slow; wanted to download a movie for my flight the following day, took ALL NIGHT to download 30% of the film. Staff would not deliver room receipts under door as with 99% of all other hotels, had to checkout at front desk, desk attendant appeared upset that I was bothering him for my receipt! Breakfast tasted like plastic.. Paid $169 for this quality experience, color me ripped off.
Forgot a backpack full of clothes r here, even though I didn't get a call from the hotel (even though the staff must have found it and I could have come back for it) when I did call and inquire they said they had found it and will courier it back. Other than that comfortable stay, good breakfast, though the room we had - 413 was small.
Nice clean property, free parking, free wi-fi , good breakfast and not too far from Los Angeles universal studios
After 9:00 pm almost everything is closed only restaurant open was a place called BJ's food was pretty good with a good selection
Good service at desk; very clean rooms; location was convenient-easy access to major highways; great variety of shops in the area.
The location of the room first floor by the elevator. You heard all the noise. The toilet made a loud noise when used or it run. Told the staff,.,

Lack of electrical outlets in room and inconsistent location of available outlets
Staff at check in talked to each other about something on computer like they had something to hide from me. They were not friendly.
