The location was excellent
The rooms weren't ready when we got there. The room also smelled like smoke.
Connected to Liberty Place Mall which has a food court.
nothingexcellent and absolutely nothing to complain about
Great location. Very convenient being next to a mini-mall. Very nice bathrooms. Concierge was helpful in arranging transportation.
-Addt'l high charges for: Parking, internet access, business computer use. Hotel nickel and dimes you to death. What good is a refrigerator that guests can't use which only stocks expensive items such as cans of soda at $5 a pop (no pun intended).Hotel itself was nice enough but the service and the sneaky way the hotel tries to charge customers for additional charges made this a one time stay. They have a snack tray in room that has some type of motion detector whereby they charge you even if you just pick something up to look at it. I just checked in and called the desk and sure enough there were already charges to the room because one of the kids had touched the tray. I asked to have tray removed immediately and they still managed to try to charge me $194 for snacks when I checked out. Of course, they correct...
Having to take the elevator up to the lobby from the street enterance,
Location, size of rooms
Exercise machines (elliptical) weren't functioning well & there weren't coffee cups available in the lobby with the coffee plus no staff available or interested in replenishing them.
Wonderful, comfortable bed. Convenient location for shopping or business. Complimentary Starbucks coffee available in lobby or to brew in room.
I called down to request gym clothes and shoes (they offer these items to borrow for a $5 fee and promote this service extensively.) I was promised that someone would be right up with my sizes, but it never happened.Very comfortable rooms and bed. Note that if you opt for the 'green choice', you are not only declining to have your linens changed, but the room will not be serviced at all. In exchange, a $5 per day food voucher is provided. I found it inconvenient that this meant I lost the opportunity to have in-room coffee replenished. Also, it would be more helpful if vouchers could be applied to room service. Other than this, I recommend the hotel as a good spot for comfortable business stay.
The hotel is in a convenient location - centrally located in Philadelphia within walking distance of two main train stations - Suburban and Market East. The in room Starbucks coffee is also a great plus!
The hotel seemed dated. Although the television, mattress, pillows seemed fresh and new, it all felt like it could have done with a fresh paint job. The room wasn't dirty but it lacked a certain freshness I've experienced in other hotels.Lovely hotel but not ideal when traveling with children. The hotel was clean and very comfortable and also conveniently located in central Philadelphia. However, the mini bar extended to the surface of the credenza where there were rows of candies and cookies - all within arm's reach of our 3 year old. Thankfully we were warned by the bellboy that all of the cookies were on sensors and if anyone lifted them even just to look that we could possibly be charged. Thankfully we were not. Our little boy did enj...
the staff at the front desk..friendly, with a smile. They actually upgraded my fiancée and I to the Presidential Suite, which was such a lovely surprise. We appreciated the upgrade. the suite was very large..we were thrilled
The décor was a little dated, but clean and comfortable. The bedding, sheets etc. were lovely. the prices at the bar area, are outrageous. I know that all hotels are overpriced when it comes to snacks and beverages, but its absurd.Four star is a good rating for your hotel. Your lobby/check-in could use a face-lift. Its a bit dated as well.
