Proximity to the highway and to the homes of family members. Heat worked.
The hotel is in desperate need of an upgrade - furnishings, carpet, wall covering, etc. It felt old and run down, which was much different than my last stay a few years ago. The complimentary breakfast was pitiful and vending machines were poorly stocked.This hotel is not worth the amount of money paid even with the Priceline discounted rate.
It was somewhere for my family to lay there head.
I didn't like that the hotel nor Priceline was willing to work out a solution with me due to inclement weather when I needed to get back home.I will not ever do business with Priceline or this hotel again.
The size and cleanliness of the room were good. Furniture in good condition.
Cancelation policy was not explained to me correctly by hotel staff. Booked room 5 nites and was told I could cancel by giving 24 hours notice. I told the desk I would be checking out 1 day early. Was told it was not a problem. Continue below...When I did check out after the 4th nite at 8am, I was still charged for all 5 nites! Will never use your services again.
Calm, free shuttle to metra or midway
NothingWorth the money less than xxxx bucks. 20 min drive to down town.

YES we stayed there because of the b/fast to save money could only get into this teeny tiny room once because there were so many people we were forced to eat b/fast out every morning that costed us appt $45 adayStaff was great maids only made the bed didnt dump garbage didn't wipe sinks down my wife had to do this wanted to save money so we stayed there for the b/fast only able to eat there once 4 straight days had to eat b/fast out cost us appt $200 + tips parking was good but lots of riff raff around the building...WE WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN! We wanted to save money instead it cost us more there room where we all gathered to eat b/fast looked like a very small 1 bd fixed up to service b/fast in second morning wasn't even able to get coffee people were lined outside the door trying to get it my wife n I were so upset! There was a free continental breakfast, and they even sent a fax at no charge. The location was right off the tollway, so it was easy to get to.
The hotel apparently still has rooms that allow smoking, so there was an unpleasant residue of the smell of cigarette smoke in the room. Also, the free wifi was a little spotty.Overall, for being a one star hotel, it was pretty decent. It wasn't the greatest place, but it wasn't bad and was a safe and reasonable place to stay for a few days.
The shuttle to the airport and metra was always flexible and took care of your needs.
One load of laundry was $3.50. Sodas from the vending machine were two dollars. should be cheaper.The Staff was friendly, kind, and accomodating. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The shuttle allowed you to overcome the distance from Chicago w/ease. It was an excellent experience for anyone who prefers to stay outside the city.

wet carpet throughout the room, the front desk people we rude for the most part, never smiling or seeming to care. the drive to the port sucked and had to leave at 7AM for a 10AM flight? absurd shuttle schedule
The staff was sweet, but helpless.
They moved me to three different rooms to get away from the carpet cleaning that was taking place, then expected me to stay in a room with wet carpet. Really poor judgment on their part. Front door was loud and in poor condition.Over all, I felt this hotel had just been bought and was at the beginning of a restoration, or it was in poor condition and they were doing as little as possible to maintain it. The staff was nice but sloppy in appearance. I would rate this hotel a 1 - 1.5 star. I do not usually complain, but I would not want to stay here again.
